Have you been an AASLD member for 10 consecutive years? You may be eligible to apply for the Fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (FAASLD) membership designation. The FAASLD program was created to recognize highly accomplished AASLD members who have made significant contributions in the field of hepatology. Time-eligible members are encouraged to review the program criteria and consider applying. The benefits of being a FAASLD include:
- Use of the FAASLD letters in your professional credentials
- Recognition at The Liver Meeting® and in AASLD publications
- First opportunity to register and book housing for The Liver Meeting®– a full week before registration opens for other members!
- Opportunity to mentor students and residents considering a career in hepatology
Before you apply to become a Fellow, get to know one. Read through Fellow Stories – a collection of stories highlighting the career success of FAASLD members. Find out about their mentorship experiences, learn about their career journeys and get their thoughts on a variety of professional and personal passions.
FAASLD program applications will be accepted through March 15. Learn more.
